Send IP Address-Based Data Via Pixel
If you choose to send us your IP address-based Connected TV (CTV) data via pixel, your LiveRamp Account Manager will send you a pixel to implement.
Note
Rather send via SFTP? You can also send us CTV data files via SFTP. See “Guide to Creating IP Address-Based Files for Upload” for more information.
Caution
CTV data only! IP address data can only be used for matching CTV data. IP addresses cannot be included as identifiers for other matching types.
Note
LiveRamp highly recommends sending only IPv4 IP addresses. You can send IPv6 IP addresses but in most cases we will not be able to match to those.
Your request should look like the following:
https://tv.rlcdn.com/api/ctvid?pid=<PID>&ctvid=<CTVID>
<PID> is the pixel ID provided by your LiveRamp Account Manager and <CTVID> is the Connected TV device ID of the calling device.
Caution
If the pixel is not being called within a VAST Wrapper: Include an"X-Forwarded-For" header with each request so that we receive the IP address of the device making the request.
Caution
No Connected TV device ID present? Do not include the '&ctvid'parameter if no CTV ID is present.
