Configure Amazon Marketing Cloud
You can configure Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) and LiveRamp Clean Room to enable report automation and visualization in the LiveRamp Clean Room UI. See the sections below for more information.
Prerequisites
To connect your AMC instance and LiveRamp Clean Room, you will need to provide the following AMC account information:
AMC Instance ID.
AMC Account ID.
The region where the instance was created.
Steps to Configure Amazon Marketing Cloud
Configuring Amazon Marketing Cloud involves the following steps:
Your LiveRamp representative works with you to schedule a 20-minute call to walk through the connection setup live. This call requires a resource that is able to log into your AMC instance.
During the call, the following process will be followed:
Log off from all Amazon accounts.
LiveRamp will provide an auth grant URL for you to open in your browser, which enables authorization of LiveRamp Clean Room's client ID in order to query your AMC account. The URL will route to the AMC login page where you will log in with your AMC credentials.
Once logged in, you will be prompted to allow access to the LiveRamp Clean Room client ID.
The browser will then redirect to the LiveRamp website where a grant code will display within the URL. LiveRamp Clean Room will use this code to make a secondary call to retrieve a refresh token.
Note
This step must be done within five minutes.
Your LiveRamp representative will configure the AMC credentials using the refresh token, followed by creating a data connection using the AMC account information listed in the prerequisites.
Your LiveRamp representative will confirm with you once a successful connection has been made.
Note
Once the configuration call is completed, it can take 15-20 minutes for Amazon to verify the connection to LiveRamp Clean Room.
Your LiveRamp representative will configure your AMC clean room in the UI and complete your account setup.
