Announcement: Online-Based Data Marketplace Segments Now Allowed for TV Targeting (1/9/23)

Online-based Data Marketplace segments (such as data based on cookies and mobile device IDs) are now available for TV targeting use cases. Previously, only PII-based Data Marketplace segments could be used for TV targeting.

For data buyers, we expect this change will help improve targeting granularity and measurement transparency in TV. 

For data sellers, by moving beyond PII-based data and incorporating more detailed web-based data in your available Data Marketplace segments for TV targeting, you’ll have a greater demand for your data as it helps marketers improve the effectiveness of their TV and digital video marketing campaigns.

If you’re a data seller and want to update your Data Marketplace segments with the TV use case and TV price, see the instructions in “Edit Existing Data Marketplace Segment Information”, depending on whether the segments have already been distributed to destination platforms or not.
