January 2023 Release Notes

Habu was busy in January starting off 2023 for what is going to be a big year of feature releases and updates. Stay tuned - there is much more to come!

New and Improved

UI Enhancements:

  • Rebrand: Our UI has been updated to match Habu’s new rebrand, which includes new colors, fonts, and logo.

  • Delete confirmations have been added: All actions that allow users to delete, now require a confirmation prompt.

  • Question Run Scheduler has been updated based on market feedback. Key changes include:

    • Consolidated UI into one modal.

    • After users enter the Schedule parameters (frequency, schedule start/end date), we now provide a summary of when the Question will run.

    • As a user fills in Date runtime Parameters, we show an example as if the Question was run on that day.

  • Search/Sorting/Filtering Enhancements:

    • Users can now search questions via display ID in addition to question name.

    • It’s now easier for users to search/sort across user lists, offline conversions, and exports, within the Data Out screen by being able to search by job name, filter by activation partner and/or status, and sort by column.

  • Expose current version of your account’s installed Snowflake CLI within the UI: This helps users understand if an upgrade is required.

  • Enhanced Error Messaging: Rather than just seeing a 403 error, the user will see information as to what is causing the issue to help expedite resolution/troubleshooting.

Data Connections:

  • CSV files (in addition to Parquet) are now supported when creating new data connections to help simplify the process and avoid users having to know how to upload files to S3 buckets.

Habu Intelligence:

  • Setup has been automated to allow for:

    • Each Clean Room has a Habu Collection

    • Based on Habu user/role permissions, users can access Habu Intelligence

    • Permissions are Clean Room specific and cannot do cross-clean room insights by default.

Privacy enhancements:

  • Clean room owners can now set a limit to the daily number of runs per clean room as an additional privacy-preserving measure.

Clean Room PermissionEnhancements:

  • Clean room owners have full control over how internal users and partners engage with clean rooms, questions, and outputs. Our flexible user permission structure also allows clean room partners flexibility over their user access by managing granted permissions within user roles.

Integrations:

  • Updated Google Ads API to v12

Fixes - Now Resolved

  • Snowlake CLI version was not showing on newly created organizations.

  • Clicking on the knowledge base link was redirecting users to re-login to the platform.
