Announcement: "IdentityLink" is Now "RampID" (5/24/21)
The name for LiveRamp's pseudonymous identifier (formerly known as "IdentityLink" or "IDL") is now called "RampID". Over the coming months, you'll see this change in our product UIs, help documentation, and other content.
Note
While we implement this name change, you might continue to see "IdentityLink" or "IDL" in some of our product UIs or content until these changes are completed in September 2021.
RampID embodies the inherent qualities of the LiveRamp brand and represents our continued commitment to neutrality and interoperability.
This name change does not affect the integrity of our pseudonymous identifier our products, or the value we deliver to our customers. RampID remains the best identifier for authenticated environments—people-based, privacy-focused, and global.
You can also read about this change in our blog post.
Rest assured: We are working to make this transition as seamless as possible! Look for additional updates to the rollout plan in this help article in the future.
