Hi everyone! Today’s release brings a number of bug fixes and improvements for Console and Privacy Manager GDPR for Web.
Console
New
We are working to support single sign on with the LiveRamp unified platform allowing customers to navigate seamlessly between applications. For this reason, we have removed multi-factor authentication (MFA) as part of Console authentication. From now on MFA will no longer be required and is now disabled on Console.
Improved
We improved the password reset flow to no longer require a phone number.
We’ve implemented many UI improvements to give you a better user experience.
Privacy Manager
New
We added the ability to add a description of a version of Privacy Manager when publishing. The description can later also be edited in the Versions section of Privacy Manager.
Privacy Manager GDPR for Web
Improved
We implemented an improvement for the Google Consent Mode state to be updated faster on initial load.
We added some clarification on the use of Google Consent Mode in Google Tag Manager.
Fixed
We fixed an issue with group consent using third- party cookies where in some cases the CMP would read from the first- party before checking the third- party cookie.
We fixed an issue where the bar layout would not display properly on certain mobile devices.
We fixed an issue where in some cases the custom stacks would not be displayed correctly on the notice.
LaunchPad
Improved
We implemented an improvement for the Google Consent Mode state to be updated faster on initial load.
We added some clarification on the use of Google Consent Mode in Google Tag Manager.
PreferenceLink
In PreferenceLink, we added several improvements and new features around webhooks.
New
You can now choose to encrypt all or a select number of data fields in the webhook payload.
