Release Notes, October 5, 2021
Hi everyone!
Today a release featuring our new Test Mode functionality and the possibility to provide an identifier directly to the ATS library and at the same time use the detection capabilities by scraping and/or looking for an identifier in the URL.
We greatly appreciate all your feedback, so please keep it coming.
ATS
New
Test Mode is here! Your ATS configuration will be in test mode when the placement for which the configuration is created is still pending the privacy review process. During this time your configuration will use a (temporary) test ID instead of the actual placement ID. The test ID enables you to continue the implementation and testing of ATS.js with mocked envelopes until the placement is approved. Once the placement is approved then Test Mode will be disabled and your configuration will automatically be re-published with the approved placement ID included.
We added the possibility to use detect mode and direct mode simultaneously in your ATS.js configuration:
In direct mode, you provide the identifier directly to the ATS library.
In detect mode, ATS.js detects the identifier on your property by using scrape and/or URL detection.
Improved
We added more copy to the Privacy Review section on the placement details page. The new explanatory texts provide more information about the privacy review process.
ATS ATS Analytics
Improved
We improved the look and feel of our dashboards to bring them more in line with the visuals used elsewhere in Console UI.
