Announcement: Unmatched Records Can Now be Excluded from Measurement Enablement Output (11/15/22)
Customers who receive Measurement Enablement output files can now choose to exclude any records from the file that did not match to a RampID. We understand the inclusion of unmatched records might not be valuable, and often can alter automated processing workflows that you might have in place, so we wanted to give you the option to exclude unmatched rows.
When we process your Measurement Enablement files, we check to see if the input identifiers of each row match to one or more maintained RampIDs. If no maintained RampIDs are associated with those identifiers, we check to see if any of the identifier touchpoints match to a derived RampID. Any rows that do not match to either a maintained or derived RampID are considered “unmatched”. For more information, see “Measurement Enablement Workflow”.
By default, we will continue to include unmatched records in the output. To exclude unmatched records for active or future workflows, create a support case in the LiveRamp Community Portal or reach out to your existing LiveRamp Technical Account Manager or other representative.
Note
Excluding unmatched records will not have an impact on Measurement Enablement billing.
