Question Permissions and Overrides
Question authors can configure default permissions for how partners interact with all questions in a clean room and set permission overrides for specific questions.
When you create a question in a clean room or provision a question to a clean room, you can assign the following permissions to partner organizations who are involved in the collaboration:
View Query/Code (default: off): Allow partners to view the code for the question prior to opting datasets into the question.
Edit and Delete Question (default: off): Allow partners to edit the content of questions or delete them from the clean room if they are no longer required.
Clone Question (default: off): Allow partners to create a clone of the question and assume ownership of the clone. This means partners in the clean room can edit the cloned version of the question.
Set up and Schedule Runs: Allow partners to trigger runs of the question and schedule them on a recurring basis.
View Reports and Output: Allow partners to view the results of a given question run for the specified question.
Change Question Permission Defaults
Clean Room admin users specify default permissions for all questions when they create a clean room so that these permissions do not need to be configured each time a question is provisioned for a partner. Users can then change the default settings for specific clean room questions.
Enter the desired clean room and select Details from the left navigation.
Select the Parameters and Permissions tab.
Select the desired default permissions to be applied to each new question in this clean room.
The default question permissions are set for all new questions provisioned to or created in this clean room. Any existing question permissions are not changed.
Assign Permission Overrides to a Specific Question
Enter the desired clean room and select Questions from the left navigation.
Select
from the More Options menu () for the desired question.
Select the permissions you wish to provision to or revoke from partners for the specified question.
Click
.The question's permissions are set and you can revise them as needed.
