Announcing Changes to LiveRamp’s Public Encryption Key (4/19/19)
April 19, 2019
LiveRamp takes data security very seriously and we are constantly looking for ways to improve. One of the ways we keep data secure is through file encryption.
We updated our public encryption key on March 8, 2019 to provide a more secure file transfer experience for our customers. This encryption key allows you to encrypt your data before sending it to LiveRamp.
Warning
The old encryption key has expired and cannot be used to encrypt files.
If you encrypt the files you send to LiveRamp and you were using our old key, update the encryption key. See “Encrypting Files for Uploading” to download the new key.
Once you have successfully updated your encryption key, you will be able to encrypt your files as you would normally.
Moving forward, we will update our encryption keys from time to time in accordance with security best practices. We will notify customers in advance before any action is taken.
If you have any questions, contact your LiveRamp representative.
