Announcing Improved Adobe Ad Cloud Integration (9/28/20)

LiveRamp and Adobe Ad Cloud (AAC) have released an improved API-based integration for first-party and Data Marketplace data distributions.

Starting the week of October 5, 2020, all customers will have access to an improved experience when distributing Data Marketplace or first-party segments to AAC using the “AAC API 1P Activation” tile and/or the “AAC API Data Marketplace/3PD” tile.

When distributing segments through this new integration, you no longer have to manually map segments in the AAC UI.

The new destination accounts do require a new property:

Account Token: This is a client-specific alphanumeric identifier that informs AAC where to port the data. The account token is also known as your account code. This can be found from the account settings page of the Ad Cloud UI.  It can also be retrieved through your Ad Cloud account manager.

Customers currently distributing segments through the previous email-based integration will be migrated over to the new integration on January 31, 2021. To make sure that there are no issues with those distributions after that date, edit any of the email-based destination accounts that you want to continue distributing data with and add the account token property.

Note

Update 3/1/21: Customer who have not yet migrated now have until March 31, 2021.

Note

Because the new integration is via API, rather than batch file delivery, you will no longer receive a confirmation email when your data has been delivered. However, you can view the status of your delivery jobs. See “View Delivery Status” for more information.
