Flows

Note

The flows feature is currently only available for:

  • Hybrid Clean Rooms

  • Hybrid Confidential Compute Clean Rooms

  • Snowflake Clean Rooms

The Flows page displays all available flows within a clean room and allows you to create, view, run, assign datasets to, and schedule flows.

To access the Flows page, select Flows from the LiveRamp Clean Room navigation pane:

You can switch between "Card View" to display flows as cards and "List View" to display them in a table with column headings.

Columns Available on the Flows Page

You must be in “List View” to display column headings in the flows table.

Column Name

Description

Display ID

A unique identifier for the flow.

Name

The name of the flow. You can use this to search for and sort flows.

Stage

The current development stage of the flow, which includes:

  • yellow-icon-04.png Unassigned Owner Data: Indicates that the owner for the necessary datasets required for the flow to operate or for its question nodes to run has not yet been fully assigned or configured.

  • yellow-icon-04.png Unassigned Data: Indicates that the necessary datasets required for the flow to operate or for its question nodes to run have not yet been fully assigned or configured

  • green-icon-01.png Ready: Indicates that all necessary data management steps have been successfully completed, and the flow is ready to be run.

Description

A description of the flow.

Date Created

The date the flow was created: MM/DD/YYYY

Date Modified

The date the flow was last modified: MM/DD/YYYY

Runs

The number of times the flow has been run.

Actions

Available actions for the flow include: "Assign Datasets" to manage datasets, "Run & Reports" drop-down to create or schedule flow runs, and "More Options" (more-options-icon.png) menu to edit, view, view version history of, or delete a flow.

Search for and Sort Flows

You can search for flows by name or sort them by “Name”, “Status”, “Created On”, or “Created By” values.

Procedure. To search for and sort the flows:
  1. On the Flows page, click Filters & Search to display the “Search” and “Sort By” fields.

  2. To search for flows by name, enter the full or partial name of desired flows in the Search field.

  3. To sort the flows, click the Sort By drop-down list and select a field to sort the flows by: Name, Status, Created On, or Created By.

  4. To change the sorting order between descending and ascending order, click Desc (descending) or Asc (ascending).

Actions You Can Perform from the Flows Page

You can perform the following actions from the Flows page:

  • Create a new flow: Click the New Flow button to create a new flow by providing a name and optional description. For more information, see “Create a Flow”.

  • Delete a flow: Click the flow’s More Options (more-options-icon.png) menu and select Delete.

    Note

    The “Delete” option is only enabled for the flow owner.

  • Edit a flow: Click the flow’s More Options (more-options-icon.png) menu and select Edit. For more information, see “Flow Builder” and “Create a Flow”.

    The “Edit” option is only enabled for the flow owner.

  • Manage flow datasets: Click the flow’s Assign Datasets button to manage the datasets of the flow's question nodes, including assigning dataset ownership, specific datasets, and mapping dataset fields. For more information, see “Create a Flow”.

  • Manually initiate a flow run: Click the flow’s Run & Reports menu and select Create Run. This option is available only when the flow is in the "Ready" stage. For more details, see "Flow Runs”.

  • Schedule flow runs: Click the flow’s Run & Reports menu and select Schedule Runs. This option is available only when the flow is in the "Ready" stage. For more details, see "Scheduled Flow Runs” and “Create a Scheduled Flow Run”.

  • See a flow’s version history: Click the flow’s More Options (more-options-icon.png) menu and select See Version History. For more information, see “Flow Builder”.

  • View a flow: Click the flow’s More Options (more-options-icon.png) menu and select View. For more information, see “Flow Builder”.

  • View flow runs and run reports: Click the flow’s Run & Reports menu and select View Run Reports to view flow runs. This option is available only when the flow is in the "Ready" stage. For more details, see "Scheduled Flow Runs” and “Create a Scheduled Flow Run”.
