July 2026 LiveRamp Clean Room Release Notes
This release introduces major improvements to partner and user management, expands support for new identifier types in ID resolution, and adds flexible data partitioning and enforcement. It also includes several usability enhancements, such as flow decision versioning, updated API row limits, and a new activity tracking field, streamlining the overall Clean Room experience.

Partner and User Management Enhancements
This release delivers a major visual and functional overhaul to how clean room owners manage partners and users.
Redesigned access management: The Access section and the partner permission and role management screens have a new look, with clearer groupings and descriptions.
Simplified permissions: Clean Room-level permissions for questions and datasets have been renamed and reorganized for clarity.
Safer invitations: The clean room invitation process now blocks invitations sent to users who can't accept them and prevents users from accepting invitations meant for a different organization.
User Groups: Manage users at scale across multiple clean rooms with the new User Groups feature.
These changes reduce friction in partner onboarding and make it easier for large networks to scale their programs across many clean room partners.

Product Updates – Limited Release
Additional Identifier Types for ID Resolution
Clean Room now supports two additional identifier types for ID Resolution, both SHA256-hashed, expanding the identifiers available for matching, especially for identifiers that are common internationally.
Hashed MAID: A SHA256-hashed version of MAID, now supported as an identifier type for ID Resolution.
Hashed phone number: A SHA256-hashed version of a phone number, now supported as an identifier type for ID Resolution.
Note
Known ID resolution does not use hashed MAID or plaintext MAID.

Sample and Enforced Partition Parameters
Data owners can now define a set of sample partition parameter values during the field mapping step for a data connection and optionally enforce them so users can only select from the approved list.
Manual entry: Enter partition parameter values directly in the UI.
API entry: Provide partition parameter values through the Clean Room API.
CSV upload: Upload a set of partition parameter values in the UI as a CSV file.
Enforcement: Optionally require users to select only from the approved list; enforced values can also be overridden for individual clean room datasets.
Manual/API and CSV entry can't currently be mixed, and this does not yet work with Flows or scheduled runs.

The GET Data Connections endpoint (/v1/data-connections) will have a default limit of 30 applied and a maximum of 100 in October 2026
Quick Hits and Fixes
Flow Decision versioning: Flow Decision configurations are now aware of clean room and version context, so behavior stays consistent as flows evolve. No existing article found for this feature — may need new or updated content.
Download row limit via API: API download requests for more than 1 million rows now return an error directing you to use Exports to deliver large datasets, matching the existing limit on downloads in the UI.
Last User Activity: A new field tracks the last time each user logged into a given clean room, replacing the previous field that only updated when a user's role changed. For more information, see "Managing LiveRamp Clean Room Users".
