August 2026 LiveRamp Clean Room Release Notes

Product Updates – Limited Release

Sample and Enforced Partition Parameter Values

Data owners can now configure value constraints for partition parameters, reducing guesswork for partners running questions.

  • Multiple configuration methods: You can configure allowed values manually, via bulk CSV upload, or through the Clean Room API.

  • Enforced vs. suggested: You can control whether the defined values are the only allowed options or just defaults.

  • Level-specific overrides: Values set at the data connection flow through to the dataset level, where the dataset owner can override them for a specific clean room, with a clear indicator in the UI when that breaks sync with the data connection.

Only data owners can change possible values for partition parameters. This does not yet work with Flows or scheduled runs.

For more information, see "Configure Partition Parameter Values" and "Map the Fields for a Data Connection".

Quick Hits and Fixes

  • Intelligence Migrated to Dedicated Metabase Instance: All XMI customers have been migrated to a dedicated Metabase instance, improving Intelligence performance for XMI customers.

  • Question Builder Validation Checks: New validation checks warn users if their question code uses reserved keywords (such as TABLE or ROWS) that aren't compatible with syncing data to Intelligence. This does not block saving a question or creating runs. For more information, see "Question Builder".
