Distribute Data from Adobe Real-Time CDP to LiveRamp Destinations
LiveRamp customers who use Adobe's Real-Time CDP (RTCDP) can configure the delivery of their first-party data to certain LiveRamp destinations from within the RTCDP (for a list of the destinations that are available, see the "LiveRamp Destinations Available in Adobe's Real-Time CDP" section below). If you work primarily in the RTCDP UI, this might be more convenient than using the Connect UI.
Note
Currently, a destination can only be configured to deliver all applicable identifier types and cannot be configured to only deliver certain identifier types.
To distribute to a LiveRamp destination that is not available in the RTCDP, you can send data from RTCDP to LiveRamp and then distribute the data from within LiveRamp. For more information, see "Send Data from your Adobe CDP to LiveRamp".
RTCDP does not contain data from the LiveRamp Data Marketplace, so that type of data must be distributed from within LiveRamp.
For any issues or errors you have within RTCDP, work with your Adobe and LiveRamp contacts to ensure troubleshooting can be done on both ends.
This solution allows you to use the RTCDP to leverage LiveRamp's Activation API to create a destination account and add segments to distribution. Because of this, any segment you want to distribute via this method must be in your LiveRamp account. To use this solution, you will need to have the appropriate LiveRamp agreements in place, including access to the Activation API so that you have the credentials needed to set up distributions. Contact your LiveRamp representative for more information.
Overall Steps to Distribute Data from RTCDP to LiveRamp Destinations
Once the appropriate agreements are in place, the following steps will need to be performed to distribute data from RTCDP to LiveRamp destinations:
Get Activation API credentials from LiveRamp.
Connect to the LiveRamp Activation API from within RTCDP by creating a destination connection to LiveRamp, using the Activation API credentials received. For instructions, see this Adobe help article.
Set up a LiveRamp destination account from within RTCDP by creating a distribution connection for each destination you want to distribute data to. For instructions, see this Adobe help article.
Activate your desired data to destinations. For instructions, see this Adobe help article.
