How LiveRamp Handles Duplicate Records

If we encounter a duplicate record when processing a file, we'll use the data from the most recent record.

LiveRamp determines what constitutes a duplicate record by using the audience key for that particular audience, which is usually the unique client customer ID (CCID) you've provided. If there is no such unique ID, we'll default to using some other identifier (such as an email address) or a combination of identifiers (such as a name and postal address).

When reporting unique records for your audience, LiveRamp will not double-count rows with matching identifiers.
