Configure LaunchPad

A LaunchPad represents a container and API that can control the loading of different tags and configurations. This guide will take you through the process of setting up a LaunchPad.

How to Get There

LaunchPad will be enabled after you have added any product to your subscription via the Marketplace.

Log in to launch.liveramp.com, select the LaunchPad tab from the left navigation menu to go to the LaunchPads Overview page. The LaunchPad Overview page lists the all of the LaunchPads that have been configured in your account. It also allows you to create a new LaunchPad, and to rename or delete an existing LaunchPad.

Create a New LaunchPad

It's possible to have multiple LaunchPads for your account. This might be useful if you are servicing multiple sites from a single account.

To create a new Launchpad:

  1. In the LaunchPad Overview, click New to create a new LaunchPad container.

  2. Enter a descriptive container name, like the website on which it will be placed (such as "Example.com").

  3. Click Create.

Set Up Integrations

The Integrations section provides access to the configuration of all integration options for LaunchPad.

  • ATS: Connect ATS.js for LaunchPad to control when and where to fire ATS.js.

  • Tag loading rules for LaunchPad: Easy setup for conditionally firing tags on your page.

  • Tag Manager Integrations for LaunchPad: Have LaunchPad push consent data to Google Tag Manager, Tealium IQ, or Adobe Launch.

  • Google Consent Mode for LaunchPad: Centrally Mmanage Google Consent Mode. Different behaviours of Consent Mode can be configured for different regions.

  • Google Analytics: Push LaunchPad events to Google Analytics.

Manage Versions

Every time a new configuration for LaunchPad is published, a new version is created. The versions can be referenced in the Versions section of Launchpad. From the versions section you are able to perform the following actions:

  • Rename: Sets a new name for the version

  • Restore a previous version: Overwrites the current settings with the settings of the respective version, but does not publish.

  • Publish a previous version: Immediately publishes a previous version as the latest version.

Admin

The LaunchPad code snippet can be found in the Admin section as well as the setting for Debug Mode. See "Install LaunchPad" for more information.

Debug Mode - will print debug information to the browser console log allowing for more efficient debugging if required.
