Dashboard Metrics and Calculations

The analytics dashboard displays charts for each of the following metrics:

Caution

ATS Analytics calculates its metrics using aggregate data (average of the averages). Because of this, you might see some discrepancies between your own calculations and ATS Analytics'.

  • Estimated Revenue

    • Incremental revenue from RampIDs ($) = ( average winning bid CPM with envelope - average winning CPM without envelope ) * ( amount of winning bids with envelope / 1000 )

    • Total revenue without RampID ($) = Average winning bid CPM without envelope * (total amount of winning bids / 1000)

    • Estimated total revenue ($) = average winning bid CPM * ( total amount of winning bids / 1000 )

    Note

    The Estimated Revenue calculation requires a minimum of 7 days of data.

  • Is my traffic more valuable if the user has a RampID?

    Avg. Bid CPM ($): Average bid price (CPM) from bid responses.

    • With RampID: Average bid price (CPM) from bid responses with RampID.

    • Without RampID: Average bid price (CPM) from bid responses without RampID.

    • Ratio (%): Ratio of Bid CPM with RampID vs without RampID.

    Avg. Winning Bid CPM ($): Average bid price (CPM) from winning bid responses.

    • With RampID: Average bid price (CPM) from winning bid responses with RampID.

    • Without RampID: Average bid price (CPM) from winning bid responses without RampID.

    • Ratio (%): Ratio of Winning Bid CPM with RampID vs without RampID.

  • Who are my top bidders?

    Bid Rate (%) = ( total number of bid responses / total number of bid requests ) * 100

    • With RampID = ( number of bid responses with RampID / number of bid requests with RampID ) * 100

    • Without RampID = ( number of bid responses without RampID / number of bid requests without RampID ) * 100

    Win Rate (%) = ( total number of winning bids / number of bid responses ) * 100

    • With RampID = ( number of winning bids with RampID / number of bid responses with RampID ) * 100

    • Without RampID = ( number of winning bids without RampID / number of bid responses without RampID ) * 100

    Winning Bid CPM ($): Average bid price (CPM) for winning bid responses.

    • With RampID: Average bid price (CPM) for winning bid responses with RampID.

    • Without RampID = Average bid price (CPM) for winning bid responses without RampID.

  • How much of my traffic contains a RampID?

    Bid Requests (#): Total number of bid requests.

    • With RampID: Number of bid requests with RampID.

    • Without RampID: Number of bid requests without RampID.

    Bids (#): Total number of bid responses.

    • With RampID: Number of bid responses with RampID.

    • Without RampID: Number of bid responses without RampID.

    Winning Bids (#): Total number of winning bids.

    • With RampID = number of winning bids with RampID

    • Without RampID = number of winning bids without RampID

  • Is addressable traffic more likely to sell?

    Fill Rate (%) = ( total number of winning bids / total number of bid requests ) * 100

    • With RampID = ( number of winning bids with RampID / number of bid requests with RampID ) * 100

    • Without RampID = ( number of winning bids without RampID / number of bid requests without RampID ) * 100

  • How does the bid value compare per browser?

    Bid CPM per Browser ($): Average bid price (CPM) from bid responses grouped by browser.

    • With RampID: Average bid price (CPM) from bid response with RampID grouped by browser.

    • Without RampID: Average bid price (CPM) from bid responses without RampID grouped by browser.

    Winning Bid CPM per Browser ($): Average bid price (CPM) from winning bid responses grouped by browser.

    • With RampID: Average bid price (CPM) from winning bid responses with RampID grouped by browser.

    • Without RampID: Average bid price (CPM) from winning bid responses without RampID grouped by browser.

  • How does the bid value compare per device?

    Bid CPM per Device ($): Average bid price (CPM) from bid responses grouped by device.

    • With RampID: Average bid price (CPM) from bid responses with RampID grouped by device.

    • Without RampID: Average bid price (CPM) from bid responses without RampID grouped by device.

    Winning Bid CPM per Device ($): Average bid price (CPM) from winning bid responses grouped by device.

    • With RampID: Average bid price (CPM) from winning bid responses with RampID grouped by device.

    • Without RampID: Average bid price (CPM) from winning bid responses without RampID grouped by device.

  • What is the RampID coverage per device?

    RampID Coverage (%): Number of bid requests with RampID grouped by device and browser.

  • Where is my traffic with a RampID originating from?

    • Bid Requests (#): Number of bid requests with RampID grouped by country.

    • Winning Bids (#): Number of winning bids with RampID grouped by country.

  • What is the number of unique RampID’s on my property?

    Unique RampID’s (#): Number of daily unique RampID’s from obtained identifiers and not cookies.

Charts which calculations include winning bids data will not display if your Prebid version is <5.20.0. In order to collect bids won data, Prebid version 5.20.0 or higher must be installed on your site. Click here to go to the Prebids download page.
