Announcement: Improved TTD Destination Account Integration for Syndicated Data Marketplace Distributions (8/24/21)

LiveRamp and The Trade Desk (TTD) have released an improved syndicated Data Marketplace integration, built on TTD’s Third-Party Data Rates & Taxonomy API.

All data sellers will now have an improved experience when distributing Data Marketplace segments to the public UI at TTD using the “Data Marketplace - Syndicated UI” destination account tile.

When activating a new destination account, this new integration has no properties to enter, so it should be easier to set up than the previous integration.

Note

If you were participating in the closed beta of this new integration, you’ll notice that the beta destination account tile no longer appears. Use the “Data Marketplace - Syndicated UI” destination account tile.

This new integration is fully automated via API. You will no longer have to manually create a parent/child structure taxonomy and deliver it to The Trade Desk; LiveRamp will configure and deliver the hierarchical taxonomy on your behalf.

Because the new integration is via API, rather than batch file delivery, you will no longer receive a confirmation email when your data has been delivered. However, you can view the status of your delivery jobs. See “View Delivery Status” for more information.

Customers currently distributing segments through the previous Syndicated UI integration will be migrated over to the new integration during the week of September 6, 2021. No action will be required on your part to complete this migration.

Caution

As part of this change, The Trade Desk will only be accepting approved data sellers from LiveRamp. Segments from non-approved data sellers can no longer be added to TTD syndicated Data Marketplace distributions. If one of your desired data sellers is not approved, contact the data seller to have them go through the approval process. See “Announcing The Trade Desk Now Requires All Data Sellers Be Pre-Approved (8/20/20)” for more information.
