Invalid Audiences
An invalid audience is any audience that includes data that is no longer available.
Audiences sometimes become invalid for use due to one or more of the following issues:
One or more of its segments was deleted from the dataset, such as during a full refresh.
One or more of its segments is no longer present in a taxonomy that has been permissioned to you, such as when a segment is deleted from a taxonomy, or when the taxonomy was deleted.
One or more of its segments contain no members.
Permission expired for data that is included in the audience.
A partner revoked permission to data included in the audience.
An invalid audience will display one or more of the following on the My Audiences page:
"N/A" is displayed in the audience's Size column.
"N/A" is displayed in the audience's Total Reach column on the REACH ESTIMATE tab of the audience's side panel and the button is disabled.
If you select the audience, its Distribute icon is grayed out.
The "Always-On" toggle is grayed out for the invalid audience and it stops distributing.
Fix an Invalid Audience
To fix an invalid audience, do one or more of the following as needed:
If your audience hasn't yet been distributed, edit it to increase segment size or to remove any invalid segments.
If the audience was distributed or another user created it, duplicate it, and then edit that new audience.
If the permissions expired or were revoked, contact your partner to re-enable the permissions.
