Duplicate a Segment

When you want to create a new segment that is similar to a segment you've already created, you can duplicate the original segment and then edit it to create the new segment:

Note

You cannot duplicate a derived segment (a segment that was created in Connect with Asset Management 1.0) that contains a rule with a "not equal to" operator. For these derived segments, the duplication feature is disabled.

  1. Hover over the segment’s row and then click the More Options menu (three dots) that appears.

  2. Select Duplicate to create a copy of the segment.

  3. The Segment Builder opens and you can then edit the duplicated segment (for full instructions, see "Build a Segment").

  4. Accept or modify the default name for the duplicated segment (maximum of 90 characters).

    Note

    If the segment contains monetized Clean Room data, the default segment name will be preceded by the name of the clean room that the data came from, followed by "Custom" (these prefixes are not editable).

  5. Click Build Segment.

    A success message appears.
