Finalizing Files for Uploading

After you’ve made sure that the data are formatted correctly, finalize the file for uploading:

  1. If the file is larger than 50 GB (uncompressed), split the file into smaller files.

  2. Name the file correctly.

  3. Compress the file (recommended but not required).

  4. Encrypt the file (if desired).
