Announcing New Features for TV Users (9/26/19)
We've recently launched an additional set of usability feature enhancements to improve your experience with Connect:Select:
Test and Control Segments are now easier to view and name
We’ve added have a confirmation step before distributing an audience as an additional safeguard
Segment IDs and Audience IDs are now available
Test and Control Segment Changes
You can now more clearly distinguish test and control segment with new Test and Control icons when viewing these segments on the the Activity Report page or the Audiences page.
You can view the percentage of the total segment that each test or control segment contains by hovering over that test or control segment’s icon.
You can now also modify test and control segment names. By default, each test and control segment is named as the original segment name with a suffix of either “_test” or “_control”. These values can now be modified when building the audience or when editing the audience.
Audience Review
Before an audience is distributed, you now have a confirmation step so you can review basic audience information (and have the chance to edit the audience before making the request) as an additional safeguard.
Segment and Audience IDs
You can now insert any desired segment IDs when building an audience for easier reconciliation with your own systems.
An audience ID is now automatically generated for every audience that is built.
Segment IDs and Audience IDs will now be shown in the Audience Builder, on the Activity Report page, and on the Audiences page.
Segment IDs can be edited by the audience owner. Audience IDs are not editable.
When you download the details for an audience, that download will now include the audience ID and any segment IDs.
