Distribute Data to Nexxen (fka Amobee)

See the sections below for an overview on our integration with Nexxen (fka Amobee) and for information on distributing first-party data or Data Marketplace data to Nexxen.

Note

Distributing data with Connect involves activating a destination account for the destination you’re distributing to and then adding segments to distribution for that destination account. See the articles below for instructions:

Distribute First-Party Data to Nexxen

To distribute first-party data to Nexxen, follow our instructions on activating a destination account and select the Nexxen (fka Amobee) First-Party Data integration tile.

When activating the destination account, the following fields are required:

  • Rate Type: Select the rate type that represents the way data usage should be billed: CPM, CPMAP, Flat Fee, or Percent of Media. For most advertisers and for $0.00 rates, select "Flat Fee". Confirm with your Nexxen representative if you're not sure which rate type to use.

  • Cpm: Enter the value for the rate type selected above. For flat-fee deals, enter "0". All segments within an Nexxen destination account must have the same rate. If you are distributing segments with different rates, create a destination account for each unique rate.

  • Market ID: Enter your numeric Nexxen Market ID.

  • Advertiser ID: Enter your numeric Nexxen Advertiser ID. If you need help finding your Advertiser ID, contact your LiveRamp representative.

  • Contact Email: Enter the best email address(es) for Nexxen to send data contract details. Most likely this is your own email address, but it can also be an email alias. For multiple recipients, separate using commas, such as "email1@domain.com,email2@domain.com".

  • Data Type: Select "4" for first-party data.

  • Start Date: Enter the start date of the contract in YYYY-MM-DD format (for example, December 25th, 2021 should be entered as 2021-12-25). Leave this field blank if this doesn’t apply to you.

  • Destination Account Name: Enter a unique and memorable name for this destination account, or accept the default suggested name. You can use any name you want as long as it is less than 150 characters in length.

Once you’ve activated the destination account, follow our instructions on distributing data to a destination.

Distribute Data Marketplace Data to Nexxen

Data Marketplace data can be distributed to Nexxen in the situations listed below:

Create separate destination accounts for each unique segment price.

Custom segments: Yes

Data sellers

Standard segments: Yes

Custom segments: Yes

To distribute Data Marketplace data to Nexxen, follow our instructions on activating a destination account and select the "Nexxen (fka Amobee) Data Marketplace" destination account tile.

Each Nexxen Data Marketplace destination account can only contain segments that have the same price. To distribute segments with different prices, activate a destination account for each unique price. For example, to distribute segments where some segments have a $5 CPM and some have a $2 CPM, create one destination account for the $5 CPM segments and one destination account for the $2 CPM segments.

  • Market ID: Enter the numeric Nexxen Market ID where the Nexxen data contract should be created. If you are doing "AlwaysOn" syndication across every single market in the Nexxen platform, enter "-1". If you need help finding the Market ID, contact your LiveRamp representative.

  • Advertiser ID: If you're sending data to a single advertiser in the Nexxen platform, enter the numeric Nexxen Advertiser ID for that advertiser. If you want to make the data available to all advertisers in a market or if these segments are "AlwaysOn", enter -"1." If you need help finding the Advertiser ID, contact your LiveRamp representative.

  • Contact Email: Enter the best email address(es) for Nexxen to send data contract details. Most likely this is your own email address, but it can also be an email alias. For multiple recipients, separate using commas, such as "email1@domain.com,email2@domain.com".

  • Data Type: Select "1" for second-party data, "2" for third-party custom data, "3" for third-party "AlwaysOn" data, or "4" for first-party data.

Information for Data Sellers

Nexxen allows data sellers to distribute their Data Marketplace segments to Nexxen so that data buyers can view and buy those Data Marketplace segments within their platform’s UI. This process is usually referred to as “syndication”, but is sometimes also referred to as “stocking the shelves” (for more information, see “Syndicating Data Marketplace Segments on Destination Platforms”).

For information on distributing your Data Marketplace segments to Nexxen, review the guidelines below.

  • Pricing information: Uses Programmatic Standard pricing.

  • Editing segment metadata: Contact your LiveRamp representative for any metadata changes after initial distribution and we will update accordingly.

  • Segment removal process: Contact your LiveRamp representative and we will remove the segments from the Nexxen platform downstream.

  • Syndication allowed: Yes.

  • Syndication pre-approval required: Yes.

  • Syndication approval process steps and timeline: Contact your LiveRamp CSM to syndicate your data to Nexxen. The timeline takes approximately 2-4 weeks.

  • Syndication distribution process: Once you’ve been approved, you can send data via the Nexxen Data Marketplace tile.

Syndicating your Data Marketplace segments at this platform involves the following steps:

  1. Contact your LiveRamp CSM with information about your data, what makes your data unique, the taxonomy, and any one pagers that provide further information.

  2. LiveRamp sends the information to Nexxen for review.

  3. If approved, use the Nexxen Data Marketplace destination account tile to distribute your taxonomy to Nexxen.

    Note

If your segments have different prices, use separate destination accounts for each price.
